Caramel Icing

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup MAYA All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 1/2 cups evaporated milk      
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


  • In a sauce pan, allow sugar to caramelize until golden brown.
  • Add flour to caramelized sugar and cook over low fire.
  • Gradually add in milk. Stir until thick, and coats the back of the spoon.
  • Add butter and vanilla extract.
