INGREDIENT
1 package MAYA Decadence Devil’s Food Cake Mix 550g
¼ cup vegetable oil
1 cup water
2 pieces eggs
Frosting:
1 bar cream cheese
¾ cup all purpose cream, chilled
¾ cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup fresh berries fruits
1 cup canned strawberry pie filling
2 cups frozen strawberries / berries, thawed, drained and pureed (serveas coulis)
PROCEDURE
Preheat oven to 350°F/177°C. Grease and line a jelly roll pan.
Prepare cake as per package direction then pour batter into jelly roll pan. And bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until done. Cool and invert cake. Cut cake using a 3-inch round cookie cutter. Set aside.
To Prepare Frosting: In a bowl, beat cream cheese until soft. In another bowl, whip cream and slowly add powdered sugar and vanilla. Whip until it doubles in volume then add the whipped cream into the softened cream cheese until well blended.
To Assemble: Get 1 piece of cake and top with strawberry pie filling and layer with another cake then cover the whole cake with cream cheese frosting garnish top with different fruit berries. To serve, lay cake in strawberry coulis.
